Double Arrow Veterinary Clinic is a professional, hometown mixed practice veterinary clinic. We strive to exceed expectations by providing the best cutting edge veterinary medical treatments available with a dedication to client education, preventative care, and honest communication. We deliver exemplary veterinary medicine and patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the animals and their people of our community.
Our History
Double Arrow Veterinary Clinic was established by Dr. Mike Lathrop in 1978 as Lathrop Veterinary Clinic. Our name was changed to Double Arrow Veterinary Clinic in 1991. Dr. David Schaefer joined the team in 1988 and Dr. Randy Greenshields shortly after that in 1994. Dr. Liz Neveau started with us in 2014 and Dr. Brooke Greenshields (Randy's daughter) came on board in 2020. We have a dedicated team of well qualified doctors. For the last 42 years we have been committed to delivering the best possible care, because of that we have seen many Wallowa County firsts:
First hydraulic squeeze chute-1982 First computerized veterinary practice-1991 First in-house blood chemistry machines-1992 First veterinary ultrasound-1996 First veterinary digital x-rays-2009 First Class IV laser-2012 First digital dental x-rays-2014
Over the years we have seen many great doctors pass through our doors and they all have a special place in our history book.
